Have you seen Betty?
So so sorry to hear Betty did not make it home. Such devastating news. My thoughts and prayers are with you 💔
You can print posters from this website or Doglost sight. Posters are important for raising awareness and for anyone in the area who isn’t on social media, who can report any sightings directly in to you .
From the map I assume that you drove to the location - if possible can somebody go back to where you were parked and take some items of family unwashed clothing and a little bit of food. Place these items on the ground near to were you were parked with the food and if somebody can sit in the car with a door open and start the engine on and off every few minutes there is every chance Betty will recognise the sound of the engine and make her way towards it.
We have done this. The houses that back onto the quarry, where she went missing and where we parked are all on lookout for her when we cannot be there.
Volunteer alert sent to 11 volunteer(s) within 25 miles. Roles: Pilots (Hobby), Pilots (A2 CofC), Pilots (GVC), Ground Searchers.
Sorry to hear that Betty is missing. Please read the information on the 'How it Works section for initial information on who to contact and phone numbers. Is the Quarry neat to home or did you drive there?
We drove there. We live in Skipton a few miles away
