message received: Hi. I’ve just seen your post about your dog. I followed her to Grove Park after driving by her running down Norwood so turned around in the car to see if I could get her as she shot across the road. I had some dog treats from my own dog but she looked at me and carried on running. She went onto Copandale road from Grove Park. I was hoping she was finding her way home. Have thought about her all day and searched Facebook to see if a post had come up. This was approx 9.30 this morning when I spotted her. I really hope she makes her way home. I will keep my eye out when walking my dog

hello everyone. penny escaped out the house Kings Square Beverley at some point today. no collar. we are out looking and have left clothes blankets food etc outside the house. we are out searching

Hi Laura , this sounds the obvious and I’m sure you have checked but this can happen - have you thoroughly checked everywhere that Penny could be stuck or hiding within the home - if you think she may have escaped through an open window ? Dogs can remain silent under certain circumstances .

Laura , hi , please can you confirm that you have given an access into your home should Penny try to return and ensure someone is home . Leave a light on in your home overnight and check any available cctv . Please follow the unwashed clothing advice as most dogs will try to return , once settled , if they are able to . Check all neighbouring gardens , sheds , garages , out buildings etc etc ..

Also refer to the emergency numbers . Notify the relevant authorities if there are nearby hazards , they will put alerts out and remain vigilant .
