Distinguishing features: she has a bit of a darker patch underneath her mouth and a small patch of ginger on each paw, wearing a bright pink and black collar.

Claire , also notify the relevant authorities if there are any nearby hazards or should Sicily venture away from the area towards any potential hazards , they will put alerts out and remain vigilant . The emergency numbers are all listed on our website . Even though Sicily has only been with you for a couple of days , she will still know your scent , therefore she may try to return . Continue to leave some unwashed clothing belonging to the person that Sicily has most bonded with , by your open door with a small amount of strong smelling food . Leave a light on in your home overnight and check any cctv to see if you can see Sicily . Most dogs will try to return once settled , if they are able and importantly , if they aren’t chased or spooked further away .

Please refer to the “ How it works “ section of our website, which will take you through , step by step , with detailed information and advice to follow when your dog is missing from home . Have you contacted local vets , rescues and the dog warden just in case anyone has maybe found Sicily and handed her in - do this even if Sicily is microchipped . Is there anyone at the rescue or from Sicily’s previous home that she particularly bonded with or even another dog that Sicily may go to ? Are the previous owners aware .
