Hi Heather , we are sorry to hear that Cookie is missing . PLEASE be SCAMMER aware we are a free service and will never contact you via WhatsApp offering to send out thermal drones at a cost. If you receive a message from anybody pretending to be me or any other member of the admin team IT IS A SCAM!! Please refer to the “ How it works “ section of our website, which will take you through , step by step , with detailed information and advice to follow when your dog is missing from home or whilst on a walk . Also refer to the section of our website which provides the emergency numbers . As a precaution , notify the relevant authorities , they will put alerts out and remain vigilant if there are nearby hazards . Also notify park wardens who will also remain vigilant . Leave an access open ( if possible ) , into your home should Cookie try to return and ensure someone is there should Cookie try to return . Check any available cctv footage to see if you can spot Cookie and leave a light on in your home overnight . If someone can place some unwashed clothing belonging to the person that Cookie is most bonded with by the open door of your home . Most dogs will try to return / home if possible / back to the missing point or somewhere familiar when the area is quiet , once they have settled and if they are able .
