Have you seen Maya?
Just thought I'd update she's spotted on the same fields still at 1.30ish today but nobody else seems to have seen her. We have followed on recommendations but we haven't spotted her yet
Hi Jennifer, if it’s at all possible can you sit in the field with a jar of hotdog sausages and take as much unwashed family clothing as possible. If she comes towards you ignore her don’t even make eye contact but keep a watch on her out of the corner of your eyes. Gently toss bits of hotdog sausages towards her and hopefully she will pick up the scent and start to approach you. Keep tossing bits of hotdog sausages drawing her closer and closer. Ounce she has gained her confidence there is every chance she will approach you and take sausage from your hand. DO NOT shout her name this will only push her away but talk to her in a good girl tone of voice.
I will try that tomorrow, the fields around us are huge so I'm not sure which one she is in for sure. Do you think I just pick one and hope for the best or should I move between them?
Hi Jennifer, if you get a sighting then go to that location but keep your distance she needs to come to you rather than you getting to close and scaring her off. She will know you are there and the unwashed clothing will play a big part in this so try and follow as above and hopefully Maya, will come to you.

Jennifer, please follow the advice below ASAP. Owner, As Maya, has gone missing from home please leave some items of family unwashed clothing and a little bit of food outside in your front garden and if its safe to do also leave a door and the gate slightly open so should Maya, make it back to the home she will have easy access back into the home. Many dogs will make it back home during the early hours of the morning so if you can follow the advice above there is every chance Maya, will make it back home during the night. Please follow as below. Can you leave some items of family unwashed clothing or anything with the body scent on of the person Maya, has most bonded with and leave with a little bit of smelly food ie tinned sardines, smoked cheese, chicken, or anything smelly etc, near to where she went missing from AS ABOVE. This does work we have had a large number of dogs return by doing this but it needs doing ASAP. Polo/tee shirt, PJ’s, old well worn coat, walking boots with smelly socks inside, even the bottom sheet from the bed works. As much unwashed clothing as possible we need to get your scent airborne ASAP. 9 out of 10 dogs will go back to where they went missing from so please do the above ASAP.
Hi Jennifer, we are sorry to hear Maya, is missing. Please can you tell me if this is her home location she has gone missing from please ??
She has gone missing from home and we've have been trying to get her all day she seems to just be wandering around the fields behind
