Try to remain in the area , I believe home is approx 1.7 miles away from missing point and nearby hazards so please contact our emergency numbers listed on the website . Please allow an access into your home should Jet by any chance try to return and ensure someone is home ! Leave a light on in your home after dark and check any available cctv footage to see if you can see Jet . Securely place some unwashed clothing belonging to the person that Jet is most bonded with by the open door which he uses and a small amount of strong smelling food , some water . Most dogs will try to return once settled , if they are able and importantly if they aren’t chased or spooked further away . Contact local vets , rescues and the dog warden just in case anyone has maybe found Jet and handed him in - do this even if Jet is microchipped . Check neighbouring gardens , sheds , garages , any out buildings etc just in case Jet is stuck or hiding . Never shine white torchlight - any torchlight needs to have a red filter . Poster the area widely and if you aren’t able to remain in the area , try to return first light .
