Hi Stacey, sorry to hear that Daisy is still missing, has there been any sightings. Please can you make sure your dad keeps replacing the unwashed clothing that is left outside. And uses some really smelly food, pilchards, spicy sausage, or smoked cheese are good. As she is young the chances are she hasn’t gone very far, she is probably laying low close by, also out of the heat.

Please do not chase or shout if you see Daisy, use slow movements, don’t approach let her come to you. Do not look directly at her, sit or lie down, sniff the ground and speak softly. If she moves away follow at a safe distance. If sighted, it is important that no one tries to whistle, grab, shout or try to catch Daisy as she will likely run. Ask for any sightings to be reported in to you or your point of contact immediately, noting time, location and direction of travel. if using a torch, please make sure it has a red filter, white lights will make a dog run.

Hi Stacey, please pass all the info I am going to give you to your dad. As your dog from home, she may try to return once she has settled. Most dogs will return to their home or point of loss. Leave a gate/door open giving clear unrestricted access into the home and ensure someone is in at all times . Securely place some unwashed clothing belonging to the person that your dog is most bonded with near the door that she uses with a small amount of strong smelling food and some water. Check any cctv in the area and make neighbours aware your dog is missing and ask them to check gardens, sheds, garages and any out buildings in case she is stuck or hiding . She hopefully won’t have gone too far and will be hiding and make her way back . Also contact your local vets and the dog warden. Post on local Facebook pages and put up posters around the area.

Thank you so much praying she is found. My heart is broken I’m stuck in Florida and my dad was looking after her for me xxx

I’m sorry to hear that. Please can you register Daisy on the www.doglost.co.uk Website ASAP, they are a National database and are also free, they will alert more volunteers in your area who can help and you will get many more shares.
