"This is a large forest away from roads and fenced in. I only let him off the lead in these circumstances because he can chase deer. Never for long though. One minute he was 20 yards behind me eating grass and then he failed to reappear. There were no sounds of him chasing anything. If he gets caught or stuck in anything he always barks for a human to come and detach him. I have heard nothing."
