Hi Emma, we are sorry to hear Ziggy is missing. Try to remain in the area as most dogs will try to return to the missing point once they have settled, if they are able and importantly if they aren’t chased or spooked further away. Securely place some unwashed clothing belonging to the person who your dog is most bonded with at the missing point, with a small amount of strong smelling food and some water. If you drove to the location leave your vehicle parked in exactly the same place where you initially parked with the doors and boot open (no headlights). Only if safe to do so and not near any roads when the area is quiet, try stop starting your vehicle engine intermittently. Contact local vets, rescues and the dog warden just in case anyone has maybe found Ziggy and handed him in. Post on all local social media pages and poster everywhere you can. Register with DogLost.co.uk if you haven’t already done so as they will alert more volunteers. Notify the relevant transport networks from our “how it works section “ on our website, if there are nearby hazards, they will put alerts out and remain vigilant.

Hi there, we still have not been able to locate Ziggy still, although there was a sitting at a farm In dingley which apparently was nearly 4/5 miles away from where he was spooked. His last sighting by a farmer was around 5.15/30 this afternoon. We may need help tomorrow??
