"Nothing apparent - was sitting at the van, then rolling/scent marking a short distance from where dad was doing a job on top of a mountain, that is mostly hilly bog (so no apparent cliff edges etc), and in when he looked back up, he had vanished. No sign of any people, no trace of what direction he might have gone, no apparent triggers. He has no interest in livestock, no prey drive, No interest in foxes, cats, rabbits etc. Is friendly to people so would approach them if he heard them, but couldn't see any on the day, though it is a hiking area. Had a collar on with number on it."
