Haiku is a rescue imported from Romania in the last week. She is unfamiliar with the area and has not yet bonded with us.

Hi Carol, we are sorry to hear Haiku is missing. As Haiku went missing from home, please allow an access into your home and ensure someone is home at all times should she try to return. Leave a light on in your home overnight and keep checking any available cctv, doorbell ring camera footage to see if you can see her. Place some unwashed clothing belonging to the person that Haiku is most bonded with by the open door that she uses, with a small amount of smelly food and some water. Most dogs will try to return once settled, if they are able when the area is quiet. Contact local vets, rescues and dog warden just in case anyone may have found Haiku and handed her in, do this even if she is microchipped. Check neighbouring gardens, sheds, garages, any out building etc., just in case she is stuck or hiding. Post on local social media and put up posters around the area. Please register on DogLost as it will reach more volunteers. Notify the relevant transport networks from our “how it works section “ on our website, if there are nearby hazards, they will put alerts out and remain vigilant.
